Elastic Cloud Server (ECS)

Elastic Cloud Servers consists of CPUs, memory, EVS disks, networking and Operating Systems and are accessed remotely from a cloud service provider. ECS is the most flexible and cost-effective solution for any kind of IT infrastructure as it allows users to scale up or scale down resources according to the application workloads. ECS possess and exhibit similar capabilities and functionality to a typical server.

Image Management Service (IMS)

IMS consists of a common operating system (OS), preinstalled public applications and the user's private applications. IMS transforms the image services provided by IT administrators into custom services that allow for self-service. IMS allows users to create, edit, upload, and delete images.

Auto Scaling (AS)

Auto scaling is a cloud computing feature that allows users to automatically scale cloud services, like virtual machines (VM) and service capacities, up or down, depending on defined situations. Auto scaling also ensures new instances are seamlessly increased during demand spikes and decreased during demand drops, enabling consistent performance for lower costs.

Elastic Load Balance (ELB)

Elastic Load Balance is a service that automatically distributes access traffic to multiple ECSs to balance the load. ELB helps expand external service capabilities of application systems and improves fault tolerance performance of applications.

Router as a Service

A Router as a service can enable VPC to have the abilities of a full-fledged router by performing the network and packet routing functionality of the router via a software application.

Direct Connect

Direct Connect is a cloud service solution that makes it easy to establish a dedicated network connection from customer premises to Mir Cloud.

Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

Virtual Private Cloud enables users to build logically isolated, configurable, and manageable virtual networks. It enhances infrastructure security in an enterprise cloud and simplifies network deployment. Users can define network features such as vFW, security group, VPN, IP address segment, and bandwidth in a VPC.

Scalable File Service (SFS)

SFS provides fully-hosted shared file storage for ECSs. In compliance with the Network File System (NFS) protocol, SFS can support storage of PB-level files. With the scalable performance, SFS can seamlessly handle data-intensive and high-bandwidth applications.

Object Storage Services (OBS)

OBS is a data storage architecture for handling large amounts of unstructured data. OBS is an encrypted, secure, cost-effective, and easy-to-use object storage service that enables users to store, back up, and archive large amounts of data on the cloud platform which cannot be organized easily into a traditional relational database with rows and columns.

Elastic Volume Services (EVS)

EVS is a scalable virtual block storage device that is based on the distributed architecture. EVS disks can be operated in online mode. EVS disks deliver greater data reliability, higher I/O throughput, and easier usage. EVS disks can be used for file systems, databases, or other system software and applications that require block storage devices.

Multifactor authentication (MFA)

Multifactor authentication is a security system that requires more than one method of authentication from independent categories of credentials to verify the user's identity for login to Mir Cloud Platform. It provides more security than the conventional authentication of only the account password.

Virtual Private Network (VPN)

A Virtual Private Network is a service that allows user to connect to the internet via an encrypted tunnel to ensure online privacy and protect sensitive data. A VPN prevents unauthorized people from spying on the traffic and allow users to ensure that sensitive data is safely transmitted.

WAF as a Service

A Web Application Firewall filters, monitors, and blocks HTTP traffic to and from a web application. By inspecting HTTP traffic, it can prevent attacks stemming from web application security flaws, such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), file inclusion, and security misconfigurations.

Virtual Firewall(vFW)

A Virtual Firewall is a service under the cloud platform that acts as a firewall device. A Virtual Firewall provides network traffic filtering and monitoring for virtual machines against defined policies in a cloud environment. A user can deploy, execute and operate virtual firewall through remote access from internet using graphical portal provided by Mir Cloud.
